Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to building and renovating homes in Orange County for qualified low-income families. This local ministry relies on faith-based group volunteers and fundraising.

ABOUT: For 25 years Habitat for Humanity Orange County, an established Christian housing organization, has successfully built and revitalized 205 modest homes for qualified low income families.  Each chosen family contributes 500 hours of “sweat equity” to building their own home. This nonprofit corporation is affiliated with Thrivent Builds/Lutheran Partnership Funding to reach the required financial goals.  The ministry also relies heavily on volunteer coordination and fund raising.

Christ Lutheran has been a proud participant since 2007 by providing volunteers the opportunity to assist in the completion of housing construction and landscaping requirements, working side by side with others.  Monetary donations are also necessary to assist in funding future builds.
