Christ Lutheran School offers a curriculum aligned with California State Standards, attempting to meet the needs of each child in a co-ed day school.  Our Christian setting provides a safe and secure environment where boys and girls can feel free to develop their gifts and talents.  We have 300 students in grades kindergarten through grade eight as well as a preschool, and a before-school and after-school care program.  We have National Accreditation through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and through National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA).

Christ Lutheran Students Participate In Young Author's Faire, Saturday, May 19th,
8:00 a.m.--12:00 noon
Several of our own Christ Lutheran Students will participate in the 11th Annual
Young Authors' Faire hosted by the Orange County Department of Education,
200 Kalmust Dr., Costa Mesa, CA 92626 this Saturday. Each young author will
receive a free pancake breakfast (served until 10:00 a.m.), a goody bag, a book, a
certificate of participation from a California State Legislator, and an opportunity to
win door prizes throughout the event. For more information, you may contact Ms.

School Age Care Summer Program
Christ Lutheran School offers a Summer Day Care program for students entering kindergarten through sixth grade (June 11- August 17)  Our objective is to provide the participants with the opportunity to discover and enhance their enormous array of talents and abilities.  We encourage you to experience the fun summer can be!  There will be numerous and diverse recreational  and educational activities.  Your child will have the freedom to choose activities that they will love.  We promise a safe, caring entertaining and energetic environment. 

Registration fee: prior to June 3rd - $45,  after June 3- $55; Full time -  $205.00 /wk;  Daily rate - $50.00 /day; other options are available upon request.

Annie Jr summer musical
Be a part of Christ Costa Mesa Conservatory's first annual Summer Musical Theater Camp and an amazing production of the award-winning musical, "Annie Jr." Camp is open to students entering grades 1-9 in Fall, 2012. Auditions May 15 & 16.

WASC Report
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges did complete their four day visit and left with a very uplifting report. They looked at our self study and the goals that we had set for ourselves as a result of it. We have been awarded the full six year term of accreditation. Praise God!

We are excited to start the enrollment process for the 2012-13 school year. You can go directly to FACTS online to enroll your child(ren) for the next year. Christ Lutheran School is committed to meeting the needs of your children and providing a safe, loving environment for their growth. As you enroll or re-enroll, if you have any questions at all, we will be available to sit with you and help. Our admissions counselor, Lisa Olson, will be available at your convenience.

Third source funding ministry needs for Christ Lutheran School.

• Financial aid is a critical need in this economy and always to provide a Christian education for children.  This past year we baptized 19 children as a result of the school ministry.
• Technology is another critical need to prepare children for 21st century skills.  It changes at such a rapid pace it that your donations are critical.

Campbell's Soup Labels
Just look for the Campbell’s UPCs on all participating Campbell’s or Campbell’s owned products (e.g., Prego and V8). Clip the UPC or keep the appropriate lids, and then send them to your child’s teacher. It is that simple. What is the benefit to Christ Lutheran? Free things the teachers need. In the past we have been able to order a portable speaker/microphone system, ball carts, and soccer cones. Your support is greatly appreciated. Bring a Can of Food Wear Jeans
In an effort to support our food pantry here at Christ Lutheran Church, we have a food drive the third Friday of each month. So, if your student brings a can of food this, he or she may wear jeans with his or her CLS polo shirt. A few suggestions include: canned tuna, peanut butter, canned chili, packaged spaghetti, boxed cereals, and canned beans.
