Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to nurture young children,
and to stimulate their language, physical, cognitive,
and spiritual development, as well as encourage positive
self esteem and social interaction. The curriculum is
designed to meet the individual needs and interest of
each child, emphasizing the building of autonomy and
problem solving abilities in the following areas: Music
and movement, physical and natural science, language
arts, cooking, creative art, dramatic play, and gross
and fine motor coordination. We also offer individual
sport and gymnastic classes to those children who are
interested in these activities.

Enrollment
Enrollment into Christ Lutheran Preschool is open
to any child without discrimination on the basis of
race, color, creed, national origin or ancestry. Children
must be two years and nine months by September and
completely potty trained. Parents may enroll their
children into a two, three, or five day session, full
or half time. Please feel free to visit our Early
Childhood Facility and set a time aside to meet with
the Director, so we can address your child's future
developmental needs.

Mission Statement of
Christ Lutheran Preschool
The Preschool is an integral part of the total purpose
and goal of Christ Lutheran Church in teaching the
faith through Bible stories and other curriculum areas.
The Preschool aims to assist families in helping their
children come to know Jesus Christ as their personal
Savior. Our mission is to help children feel good
about themselves and
know they are special in the eyes of God.

Purpose
Christ Lutheran Preschool is a developmentally appropriate
facility for preschoolers and encourages "hands-on
learning." Through our program we pray that each
preschooler would have their self esteem blossom,
that they would gain autonomy, and that they would
know without a doubt that Jesus loves them. Our staff
is trained in Early Childhood Education, and our program
has been accredited by the Lutheran Pacific Southwest
District.

A Final Note
Here at Christ Lutheran we encourage your child to
try new and exciting things inside the classroom as
well as outside. There are wonderful ways for parents
and families to get involved with the Preschool. Our
goal is to offer a nurturing and loving environment
for all children, and to keep communication open with
