Life Groups are a key way to get connected and be encouraged to grow spiritually.
We believe spiritual growth flows out of two basic commitments:
- A loving commitment to God and His Word.
- An obedient commitment to significant Christian relationships.
To help develop these significant relationships, we have created Life Groups.
EVERYONE CONNECTED! It is our goal to have every member of our church family involved in either a Life Group or another similar small group experience (Christ Care). While most groups are sermon-based, some are special interest groups focusing on topics such as parenting, marriage, stewardship, and Christian basics for new believers/Lutherans.
CONNECT WEEKLY! These Sunday morning or mid-week home groups require a ten- twelve-week commitment, and are comprised of 7-14 people. Three ten-twelve-week quarters are offered annually, fall, winter, and spring, and provide an opportunity for individuals to remain with the same group or try a new one! Each group meets weekly to share, to study God's Word, and to support one another personally and spiritually.
QUARTERLY MINISTRY PROJECT! One’s spiritual growth is also enhanced when individuals serve together. Groups are challenged to select and complete one service project/ministry during the quarter. Brainstorm as a group! Be creative! Have fun and laugh and grow!
