Cradle Roll is offered by our church to share with families of small children (ages birth through 3 years) the biblical and age-appropriate ways to talk to their children about Jesus. When your child is born or baptized, you can enroll them in the Cradle Roll. Periodically - for the first three years of the child's life - the church sends the family materials to nurture the child's spiritual, emotional, and physical development.  There is no cost to your family to be enrolled.  For more information please contact Noël Fairchild at

Sunday school is available for children (potty-trained) 3 years through 6th grade during the 9:45 service.  For more information please contact Noël Fairchild at

Fall Sunday School...starts September 12th at 9:45am. Please register your child before September 12th at Register for Sunday School. There is no charge for your child to attend.

Special Events:
Truck or Treat is our annual Halloween alternative held on October 31 from 6 to 8 pm.  Decorated cars will line the parking lot-field for children to pass by and observe, collect candy, and play games. For more information please contact Noël Fairchild at

Christmas Children’s Program: On December 24, 2010 our entire Sunday School will present a musical telling of the birth of Jesus.  The children will start practicing in early November.  There will be a small fee for participating families.  For more information please contact Noël Fairchild at

Easter Play-day: On Saturday April 23rd, 2011 your child is invited to come enjoy a huge egg hunt and fun games for kids, toddlers thru 5th grade.  This will be our 32nd annual Play-day at Christ Lutheran Church.  It will take place from 12noon to 2 pm.  For more information please contact Noël Fairchild at

Noël Fairchild is directing our Children’s Ministry here at Christ Lutheran.

Noël received her bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Concordia University, Irvine in 1996 and her master’s degree in Family Life Ministry from Concordia University, Seward in 2004. She has been working part time at Christ Lutheran since November of 2004.
Noël is a native of Irvine and lives there with her husband Mike, an attorney, and their sons Jack and George and daughter Kate.
Noël loves being a wife and mom and especially enjoys working with children. She also likes spending time with girlfriends, reading, scrapbooking, watching “Wipe Out,” and training for her next Triathlon. She would love to get to know your family better. Invite her over to dinner…she will bring the dessert!

Erika Augustine is leaving her position as Children's Ministry director to become a full time teacher at Christ Lutheran School in Brea. Eri-ka has faithfully served our children for the past 2 years. She was a hard worker who loves serving God with her many gifts. She will be greatly missed for our program. Please take time to thank Erika for her time and dedication to your children this Sunday as she and her family will keep their membership here.
