CLC will help the children in your family develop a biblical worldview and unite them with a community of believers who will foster their commitment to God’s truth and establish personal accountability for a faith-driven existence.

Programs:
Nursery is available for healthy children, ages 6 months to 4 years old during all services. The nursery is located in the back of the church building.
Cradle Roll is offered by our church to share with families of small children (ages birth through 3 years) the biblical and age-appropriate ways to talk to their children about Jesus. When your child is born or baptized, you can enroll them in the Cradle Roll. Periodically - for the first three years of the child's life - the church sends the family materials to nurture the child's spiritual, emotional, and physical development. There is no cost to your family to be enrolled.
Sunday school is available for children (potty-trained) 3 years through 6th grade during the 9:45 service. This program runs from September through May each year with a special “Summer Sunday School” during the months of June and July. We are currently taking registration for the coming Sunday School year. To register your student, please click on the link below and complete the form. We ask that this be done prior to your student joining us on a Sunday.

Ministry Update
As you may have heard, we recently have had some changes in the staffing of our Children’s Ministry Program at Christ Lutheran. Noel Fairchild and Alyssa Membrilla had been doing an amazing job in serving our congregation. Both have accepted calls out of this role with Alyssa moving into our 3rd Grade Teacher position at Christ Lutheran School and Noel accepting a call to Light of Christ Lutheran Church in Irvine. We thank both of them for their service and amazing work in their time here. Anytime there is a staff change it is good to pause and evaluate the direction of that position and the ministry it is overseeing. It is our intent to do just that in Children’s Ministry. As a result, we will gain a better understanding of what and who God is calling us to pursue for this position. Our hope is to grow this position in the coming years (currently 18 hours per week) as well as to find someone gifted and willing to grow along with it. This is an incredibly vital and important undertaking, but also one that should not be rushed.
As we go through this process and enter the new school year, Kyle Frazier, Director of Student Ministries (and the person to whom the Children’s Ministry reports) will absorb the majority of the Children’s Ministry role. This will insure the continue running of our Sunday School program starting on September 18th and all other functions of this ministry position until we are able to secure our new staff member for the Children’s Ministry position. (Kyle will continue to make use of volunteers and Concordia University students to assist in our vital Student Ministry efforts.)
This position and this ministry are incredibly important as we strive to offer the best experience for the precious children of Christ Lutheran, their families, and the surrounding community. We are committed to this ministry and promise to use all possible resources to see it grow and flourish. In the mean time we ask for your prayers and support as we move forward. Thank you and God Bless.
